Can’t fault this company on airport transfer! Pick up outward and inbound!
Got a text saying my car had arrived. Was not there. Waited 10 minutes, still not there. Tried to call arrow number but just got an automated message saying my taxi had arrived. Luckily another taxi pulled up. As I was getting in the arrow driver called and said he was just outside - he wasn't, there were no other taxis in sight. He got quite frustrated/angry, which I did not like. Why did he send me a text saying he was just outside when he was saying on the phone he was given bad directions?
I was surprised to see one star ratings and general discontent with this private hire taxi company, coming to the conclusion that they must have been really unlucky. For those wanting a taxi to and from LBA airport I would urge you to try again and give them another chance. I couldn’t fault my journey and as I believe they are the official airport taxis now, they must have done SOMETHING right. 😊 I couldn’t fault them. OK it took a bit of time to arrive, but they get stuck in traffic almost as badly as any other motorist - no car lanes help, but often they are just there as a gesture to cyclists. My phone got texts confirming the booking and again with details of the make/registration/colour to look out for. My driver sent a text when he was nearly there - an Asian man who couldn’t have been more helpful. As I was going to Headingley to collect tickets then straight back, he circled the ground and waited until I was ready, taking me back home, which on a boiling day was very welcome! We had an enjoyable chat about cricket, a subject of common interest and I would not only use them again myself but would highly recommend them.

Prebooked a taxi, it didn't show up. Rang the company but they couldn't tell me when a car would be available. Claimed they have no way to schedule pickups and it's up to the drivers whether they take a job. Cancelled the booking and still haven't had a refund or a response to my complaint. Will never use arrow again.
The service i received was very bad. I pre booked 2 taxis on the 14/5/18 to pick me up at 9.05am and 14.35pm in the 15/5/18. The taxi i booked for 9.05 turned up at 9.25 , I contacted Arrow at 9.10 to say my taxi was late and it hadn't even been dispatched. A taxi eventually arrived at 9.25, he did try to get me to work as fast as he could but we nearly had an accident with a van and then a bit further down the road with a cyclist. I was 10 min. Late for work. On my way home i had booked a taxi for 14.35 and as I had been late this morning I thought this one would have been in time. But I had no notifications to say it was on its way so again I phoned and was told it hadn't been dispatched but a car was in Whortley and would be on its way. After 5 min i still hadn't had a notification i had to call another taxi firm as I was late in picking my 9 year old daughter up from school. The best bit is i did get my notification an hour late and a call from a taxi driver asking where I was. I did tell him I had booked a taxi but for an hour earlier. I feel very let down by Arrow and don't think I will be using them again for important journeys because I don't know if they will turn up.
Good taxi firm that never let you down. Always have a taxi readily available. Would definitely recommend.
