Before 11am yesterday I booked a Streamline taxi to take me and my wheelchair from my Brislington home to the Brislington retail park. Just before 2pm I phoned Streamline. I explained that one of their drivers had taken me to the Brislington retail park earlier that day and I now needed a taxi for the return. I had a succession of text messages from V cars aCcording to which the driver had arrived but not seen me. That happened twice. On my third attempt to book a taxi to get wheelchair and myself home, the phone was not answered! I rang my daughter who discovered that the drivers dispatched for my return had not been sent to Brislington retail park where I was, but somewhere else!!! Eventually, well over two hours after I initially attempted to book a taxi home, the one ordered by my daughter arrived.

FOUR mistakes made on my journeys to and from BRI. (1)Outward journey driver had been given incorrect postcode for my address. Homeward even worse. (2) Driver sent to BRI cafe on 5th floor instead of main entrance. Waited for 30 mins (following spinal injections) before poor driver eventually found me. (3) Job was logged for payment though I called it in from my mobile, which is registered for credit card payment (4) My home house number was wrongly given on instructions. I have always used Streamline and found them reliable and reasonably priced. I shall think twice about using again after this dreadful debacle and certainly no longer recommend to friends.

We took a taxi to the Hen & Chicken. We were there really quickly and the fare we paid was cheap. Definitely recommend.
